My interests include tramping, skiing and rock climbing as well as any kind of team sports. Throughout my life I have participated in hockey, soccer, netball, basketball, gymnastics and rowing and I am always looking to find new sports and outdoors activities to try.

I love to travel and explore new places, both overseas and right here in New Zealand. I enjoy experiencing new environments, cultures and foods and love to meet new and interesting people. 

While I enjoy teaching all areas of the curriculum, I have a particular interest in literacy and the arts. I love all areas of the arts, so I attempt to bring an element of creativity into many areas of my teaching and learning.
