School Tours

Free of charge

On the morning of Friday the 16th we will be providing guided tours around the school.  It’s a chance to check out your old classrooms, see how they have changed over time and look at the beautiful teaching spaces that have been added since you were here.    Watch our children learn today and have our chat with our 2022 new pupils.     

The times for the tours are as follows:-  .

9.15 - 9.45am  9.45 – 10.15am  10.15 – 10.45am

The library will also be open at this time so that you can check out the displays of old class and excursion photographs, magazines over the years and a display of cups that have been awarded through the decades.

Celebrating 150 years! Take a look back in time over the decades! 

Each class is going to bring you a snippet of something that happened in each decade. Significant events in history will come to life, right in front of your eyes. 

This production will have it all!

A chance to come along and catch up with some old friends and classmates over a glass of wine, beer and nibbles. Reminisce over the old times, before heading out to one of the beautiful eateries in Martinborough. 

Unfortunately we have been unable to hold a sit down dinner for all, due to COVID. So, now it’s up to you all to organise and book an eating experience in Martinborough for yourselves. Go and explore the possibilities. 

The price of $35 includes a complimentary drink and nibbles. More will be on offer for you to purchase if desired.

Ambrose Golf Competition

Martinborough Golf Course on Boundary Road will host our Ambrose golf tournament on Saturday 17th September 2022. For you keen golfers we will be teeing off at 8am rain or shine. Cost per person is $30 and the field is limited to 32 teams of 4 so get in quick! Make up a team of old friends or we can put you in a team with new friends. Sure to be plenty of laughs along the way and a few prizes at the end!

Martinborough History & Wine Tour

 A one and half hour tour featuring an entertaining history of Martinborough concluding with a stop at one of the popular local wineries, Tiwaiwaka. There will be 4 tours across the day starting approx -9am, 10.30am, 12pm and finally 1.30pm.  Come for a trip down memory lane. See what is new, changed or just as you remember!

$40 including tour, wine tasting and food.


The World 1982 Movie

A documentary made by TVNZ as part of the Martinborough Centennial Celebrations in 1982.  A variety of local activities were filmed (parade, church service, visit by Governor-General, madcaps production etc), complete with interviews with some of the older residents of the town at the time.

A great walk down memory lane for those who have grown up in Martinborough and an interesting documentary for newcomers who are interested in the town’s history.

Local Produce & Product Market

Our market will be selling an array of amazing local products, produce and crafts. Local food trucks will be providing – something for everyone to purchase to eat. 

Situated in the Martinborough School grounds, wet or fine. This will be another chance to look around the school, look through old photos in the library and a chance to catch up with others. 

We are all looking forward to seeing you there.
